| Process development and implementation at Transmet is an ideal tool for your research efforts. Our products are cited by four customers in patents. |
Transmet was founded in 1979 as a subsidiary of Battelle Research Institute. While we are now a privately held company we have continued to be active in product development. We have developed specific shapes for unique applications. We have developed special alloys that when combined with our process's capabilities result in amorphous metals and/or nano grained metals. To see pictures of this click on high silicon flake or 2219 flake.
Transmet has worked with universities (including the OSU, Penn State and the University of Cincinnati), government labs (including Battelle Columbus, Batelle Northwest, DOE and DOD) other small business and fortune 500 companies.
