Superior Surface Finishes
A soft metallic shot for deburring, deflashing, and general cleaning of light metal castings and other non ferrous products. With a bulk density similar to steel, zinc shot can deliver the energy to remove burrs and flash without leaving an aggressive surface profile.
Our HG cast zinc shot is made from High Grade Zinc. This alloy is similar in hardness to zinc cut wire and imparts an equivalent surface finish on castings. HG cast zinc shot lasts up to 50% longer than zinc cut wire.

The ZA4 alloy is harder than the HG and is a bit more aggressive. It also has a greatly increased durability. It will last up to 300% longer than zinc cut wire in blast cleaning operations.
